We are rapidly growing our global business and we are looking for a new colleague for our electromagnetic environment (EME) group within our System Engineering department.
As our new Sr. EMC Test Engineer, you will support our experts in all related EMC aspects of our naval projects. This includes system design based on customer requirements and support of EMC and TEMPEST measurements incl. documentation in terms of test plans, procedures, and reports.
Your role
In this role as EMC Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the EME team responsible to develop and execute test cases ensuring EMC requirements are met.
You will support our experts in all related EMC aspects of our naval projects. This includes system design based on customer requirements and support of EMC and TEMPEST measurements incl. documentation in terms of test plans, procedures, and reports.
You will be part of a highly skilled team of colleagues who develop our solutions based on our product TactiCall for advanced communication scenarios. Our solutions are installed on board naval vessels, in military headquarters, control rooms for critical infrastructure and other areas of mission critical operations.
Tasks
Lead and conduct EMC testing on a variety of products
Develop and execute test plans to validate product compliance
with relevant standards and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, to identify and address EMC issues early in the product development lifecycle
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
Troubleshoot and resolve EMC-related issues during the development and testing phases
Create test reports and maintain detailed records of test results, methodologies, and any deviations from standards
Your profile
You enjoy working with technical challenges and you are motivated by working with new technologies and communication systems and are curious to analyze the mutual influence and interference of these systems.
You have a structured and methodical approach to task solving, and understand the importance of documenting your work and the measurement results.
You enjoy working in an international environment, and are capable of balancing a holistic view of the project with the detailed view on the specific task.
We expect you to hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering with high frequency and RF engineering skills or similar with relevant work experience.
We are in a global environment and therefore look for candidates with various backgrounds and experiences. We interact with each other and therefore need good communicators, who like to interact with stakeholders and who speak/write English.
